I was getting milk from a fridge yesterday and near the cold cellar, someone had left a barbell lying on the floor. Since the lights were not on, I stubbed my foot and broke two toes.

Ouch! Try icing it and some Tylenol should help!

Ouch! I hope it heals up fast for you.
As the weather's getting cooler, going barefoot or in loose sandals isn't an attractive option if you're dealing with swelling. When I dislocated 2 toes a while back (thankfully mine didn't break), I found wearing a looser shoe helped to protect the foot while providing some support and warmth. Maybe something similar would work for you. The last thing you want is to get your foot numb on the sub-zero mornings that we've been treated to over the past week!

Ouchies! If you can, try to keep off that foot as much as possible & keep it elevated. And as strange as it sounds, soaking your foot in lukewarm water will soothe the broken toes & help with the swelling.
Hope you feel better soon.

Ouch, Gryphon, hope you are able to take time to soak you foot, and heal quickly. Take care!
