Today is, Cook Something Bold Day ! Have you tried macaroni salad grilled on a barbecue?
And just because most chefs probably aren't brave enough to cook a chicken inside a duck inside a turkey doesn't mean you shouldn't attempt to roast a turducken. Bold meals make for lots of fun.

I would like to announce a new contest, sort of, which I will call Turduckarama 2012. There will be no prizes awarded, since it is well known that nobody ever actually wins anything anyway. Here's the deal; come up with the most delicious, innovative, or simply disgusting combination of forcibly nested food products. The turducken people are the inspiration, and Pizza Hut, with their recent cramming of hot dogs into pizza crust, are the downside.

I will start it off with Breaklupper: Hollow out a large loaf of italian crusty bread and liberally slather the inner surface with garlic butter. Apply several alternating layers of pre-cooked lasagna noodles, pasta sauce and ricotta cheese. Switch themes with a layer of thin rye bread, dijon mustard, black forest ham, ementhal, more mustard and a second layer of rye. Leave enough room on the inside for a generous serving of scrambled eggs and bacon, with ketchup and maple syrup to taste. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or wrap in heavy foil and bbq. Outdoorsie types can bury the whole deal with hot coals for 3 hours and hope for the best. When finished cooking; enjoy your Breakfast, Lunch and Supper all in one package - Breaklupper!
