Picked up 30 free bags of Europes Best Roasted veggies today. I went to a few different stores so no shelf clearing. Used the Smart Source coupon I from a while ago for $2 off, combined with the buy 10 get 100 AM will make them free! Also picked up some Van Houtte coffee and was hassled at one of the stores for using the printed coupon I was told they wouldn't take printables any more. I asked if Safeway had changed their policy and I was told that the manager had said not to take them, I was able to use them but I'm wondering if anyone else has had the problem or heard of any changes. Thanks for all the tips on this thread makes going to Safeway much more enjoyable when I know Ill be leaving with a substantial amount of AM's and some pretty good deals.

Had grief at one time at my nearest Safeway store trying to use THEIR FACEBOOK coupons (printed out on a b & w laser printer, all right not the best, but still scannable) [BUT IT'S YOUR COUPONS, I remember saying/yelling]...anyhow a quick posting on their FB page, mentioning the store # led to a nice conversation with the store manager, who promised to "educate" his staff on printed coupons. At any rate, have had pretty much no problems since--ran through a dozen printed coffee coupons tonight at the store, with no problem (other than I had 12 coupons, plus the B100G100AM, she had to get an override key, to enter 36$ of coupons)...anyhow spent 110$ got 505AM, so it was a good night. But if there is an issue, have no fear in escalating the issue via this social networking thingee, called Facebook--they do read it, and know how to respond!!!

I checked at safeway yesterday and the b1g1 cereal doesn't match up with any of the b5g100am's

Oh well... One thing is for sure... we don't get the deals if we don't try and look for them.

Thought I would post a deal that doesn't give any bonus AM's but is pretty good value. The Febreeze air effects are on Bogo this week. I bought 3 got 3 and then used 2 of the B3 save $5 coupons making the cost under 2 bucks for 6. My store had the Christmas scents so I got them for some gift hampers.
