There is a pretty Balea Bling hand soap dispenser with soap in Christmas scents (peppermint, cranberry and ?? forget the last one). They are $5.99 each and I am pairing it with a gift card for the kids teachers.

Hot chocolate on a spoon! Use Cadbury chocolate (of course!!) - 4 bars melted with 1/2 cup sifted icing sugar and 1/4 cup sifted cocoa powder into molds or ice cube trays.

I found the "how to" on youtube and it is pretty easy (I spoon the mix into the molds, not pipe it in)

Then decorate with curling ribbon and decals, found at Dollarama. Bags found at Bulk Barn.

That is a double batch you see - made 30.

Stir the spoon into a cup of hot milk - tastes wonderful!!

Thats an excellent gift. I got scented soap and a dispenser once as a gift, I didnt even know I wanted it, but sure missed it when it was all used up! I keep the dispenser and just refill it as it matches so nice in the bathroom

baked goods are great and can be a lot less expensive than purchasing. You can make them in batches and split up the gifts with great tins from the dollar store.

On behalf of most service people, please, no chocolate. I think most of us pass it on to food banks or re-gift it.

Well as a service person who was convinced that ALL my customers thought I was an alcoholic since they seemed to give me liquor a lot, I welcomed the chocolate. lol

Hilarious!!!! I swear I only get maybe 1 bottle of wine at Christmas and 10 boxes of chocolates. I actually still have 2 types of chocolate in the fridge from last Christmas and am dreading this Christmas because I know I'm going to get tons more.

My DH used to ask me if I was dropping hints about liking to drink, or if I staggered while delivering the mail! It was funny one year I had 3 bottles of Kahlua in the cupboard and we had no idea what to do with it, that stuff is quite sweet.
