So weird, my subtotal was $209.09 so I picked up a $1.19 cough drop pack but looking at my receipt, my subtotal was $209.30 with a redemption of 95000 pts. Huh?!

Another weird thing, the pts I spent + balance = total pts I had before redeeming BUT at the bottom of the receipt it says "promo bonus points adjustment 24000". 24000 also happens to be the bonus pts amount I received from the GC promo. Anyone know what this means?

That's your bonus points from the gift card promo which should have been added on the 26th. If you haven't used your card since then then that's why it hasn't been shown until now or Are you saying you got credited twice from it?

^ No, that's why I'm asking. My beginning points were 127964 (this includes the 24000 awarded on Nov 26)

    RECEIPT from today (dec 2)
    Points Earned Today: 30
    Total Points Redeemed: 95000
    Current Points Balance: 32994
    Promo Bonus Points Adjustment: 24000

The Current Points Balance is correct. I'm just not sure what that last line is for. Like I said, it's the same amount as what I earned from GC promo so I think it's something related to that but I'm not sure. At first I thought it was some secret bonus redemption level? No idea. Lol.

It doesn't mean they credited you points today, it was just a reminder, it automatically gets put on the next receipt the first time after they credit you.

It's your GC points. They apppear on your 1st receipt after they've been posted as an FYI.

If your redemption amount is less than your subtotal it's usually because you have some non pointable items like bottle deposits or it's because the cashier hadn't pressed total yet. Some items, like multi buy items, don't have their price displayed at the reduced price until the cashier totals the transaction.

Thank you ladies! That makes sense now. Good thing this was only $0.70 short so I don't feel cheated. And glad to know about the 24,000!...I was afraid it meant they were in contention and might get taken away or something.

I finally found an XBox with Kinect Bundle and picked it up today (It was only 2 hour drive both ways, with a 3-year-old). I used my redemption and shockers, paid $72.49 OOP, with tax. Good thing I made a return to a store this week after seeing the SYP amounts were revealed. I didn't need a printer to print coupons anyway.

I felt like Clark Griswald when he was enrolled in the "Jellies of the Month Club" in lieu of his Christmas bonus.

I'm glad so many of you were able to do so much with your points to make your holidays better!

I did a $210 redemption myself, and transferred enough points to my BF so he could do one as well (which he used entirely on stocking stuffers ). I finished up some Christmas shopping, and bought a few things for myself, too. Even though the redemption wasn't so "mega" this year, I am so glad the optimum program exists. It's really helpful to not have to spend this money OOP right around the holidays!

    Household:
    -sponges $2.99
    -BBQ lighter $4.99
    -toilet cleaner $5.29
    -dish soap $3.99
-miracle whip ($3.99) (disgusting, but BF loves it)

    Christmas gifts/stocking stuffers:
    -Nivea lip balm ($2.99)
    -blistex lip conditioner ($2.79)
    -hand sanitizer ($1.99)
    -baby lips lip balm ($5.99)
    -tums smoothies ($2.79)
    -jumbo candy came ($0.79)
    -old spice deodorant ($3.49)
    -dove men's body wash ($2.99)
    -Lindor chocolates ($0.99)
    -Essie nail polish kits ($14.99 x 2)
    -bath loofa ($3.99)
    -trident layers gum ($3.99)
    -silly putty ($1.99)
    -stain remover pen ($4.49)
    -magazine ($11.99)
    -memory foam slippers ($24.99)

    For me:
    -revlon lip butter ($10.49 x 2)
    -annabelle lip liner ($6.99)
    -rimmel eye liner ($7.99 x2)
    -rimmel eye shadow ($7.99)
    -John Frieda conditioner ($6.99 x2)
    -maybelline mascara ($7.99)
    -shower comb ($4.49)
    -hand cream (4.99)
    -biore pore strips ($5.99)

    Bags x3 ($0.15)
    Subtotal: $217.01
    HST: $27.67
    Total: $244.68

    OOP: $34.68
