Used my Free coupon for a Kelloggs box of cereal (coupon from Facebook promo a few weeks back). Was excited that the B1G1 Kelloggs sale Safeway has this week matched the size/kind with my coupon! Got 2 boxes of Mini Wheats for free with the one coupon by combining it with the sale!

Do you all keep track of what you are owed?
Check your receipt before you leave Safeway. It should tell you how many AMs you received. If the amount is not correct go to CS.

I don't like the CSR to record the missing AM on their missing AM log book. I found that there is a 50/50 chance that I won't get them later. That is why I always ask the CSR to refund the whole bill and redo it to make sure I get all the AM I am supposed to get for the bill. The CSR may not like it. But it is my money.

I think the reason that AM wants you to wait for 120 days before calling for missing AM, is that they hope you will forget about it after 120 days. I found that if you don't get the missing AM in 2 weeks, then you will likely not get them at all, doesn't matter how long you wait.

That's great. My Safeway won't let me use a FPC with a B1G1 deal. I think they make the rules up as they go!

That's what I do and the CSRs at my Safeway (Shelbourne) were the ones whoi clued me into it and seem happy to do it for me. It's called a:

    Phantom Refund/Resell

Ask for that instead of being written up in the book as a_1 suggests.
My Safeway won't let me use a FPC with a B1G1 deal.
Run all the products through and hand the FPC to the cashier at the end. Often they'll just credit you as they don't know which products are BOGO.

PS: The way things are going we might hit 500,000 today!

I just get them to do a Phantom RR for the product missing the AMs only.

That's too bad! I don't think I was breaking any rules. They are getting their money from Kelloggs for the one box through the FPC. And the other box is their own instore special - it came off automatically when I gave them my ph#. And I only got the 2 cereals on that trip so it was pretty obvious what I was doing....
That would be tough if it seems like they are changing the rules all the time. We seem to have a really great Safeway where we are.
