You're welcome. I haven't had the chance to get to one of these. Are the prices really good?

Yes. It is even worth the 2 hour wait in line. There are lots of portable toilets outside and I take my own coffee. I went the first day of the sale last year and found pieces of my dish set that went out of production in 1999. And selling for peanuts. I got saucers for 29 cents and I needed them. Little/ individual souffle dishes for $2.00 and a very large casserole dish with a lid for $9 that was selling on the internet for $150 at Replacements.
Also some very good baking pans in the Nordic Ware Platinum series for 20% of original cost.
I went back the middle of the sale to see if there was still stuff and there was. Then I went the scond last day of the sale at 3 p.m. and there was no line up. At this point there was no dishes in my dish set but I picked up some nice giftware for Christmas presents.
This year I will do the same: go at beginning and end of the sale.

I went to the October 30 "Pre-Sale sponsored by Amex" and was very disappointed. None of the bargains of last year. I go every year and this was the first time I was disappointed. Nothing. After waiting in line for 45 minutes. They had free coffee though.
I would like to go back on November 20 for a second round.
I went to the "Wildly Delicious" warehouse sale right across the street and ate all their free samples. Not sure about their prices. Seem to be only about 20% of the regular price. The samples were really good.
I remember years ago there was another warehouse sale on this same street: Venables. Anyone know what happened to them?

I went back again on Friday November 20th for my second sale visit. Still disappointed. There was no line-up at all this time and the warehouse was not crowded.
However, I don't understand why they have so much stuff that is not on sale at their regular store downtown. I came for those products not for the cheap Christmas stuff or the other cheap gift ware that can be bought at Walmart for the same price. They are really sluming this year.
I did see a box of 3 cups & saucers in my discontinued china set. It was not marked. I tried to get a price but was rudely told it should not have been put at without a price. I really wanted to buy it. Then I was told the person who priced the china had gone home for the day. It was only 12:30.
My girlfriend bought a vase and the cashier ripped the box trying to find the code to scan which was on the bottom of the box anyway and not on the item. The staff seem to be rude and tired or worn out.
As I said not the same as last year.
But I did go baclk to the "Wildly Delicious" warehouse sale across the street and got some great bargains:
An 11 oz. tin of "Spicy Chocolate Cinnamon Cocoa" for only $3. I have tried it already and it is great. Sorry I didn't buy more cans.
Also a 8 oz jar of "Mditerranean Chickpea Tapenade with Sundried Tomatoes for only $3. An 8 oz jar of Hot Pepper Demi-Glaz for $2.00.
I bought a gift package of 3 different types of mustards and a plastic spoon for only $9.00 (regular price $22.00)
The have free samples and I ate a lot. This is a great great place and I love their food. They have weekly specials. You can print off an ad on their web site at: www.wildlydelicious.com and get a free gift with purchase. The free gift was a bottle of Italian Sundried Tomato Oil.
