Thread: New Couch Brag - Right place at the right time

    When DH and I moved into our place 3 years ago - It was purchased with some furniture in the papers. 3 Years later... we still have the couch. Its gross.
    The pull out couch inside of it has the worst mattress that we don`t even have guests stay over. There is cigarette burns (And nobody in my home smokes)
    It`s just over all gross.

    Finances have been rough and restrained as I have recently cut back from full time work to part time due to health issues and DH is not working at the moment.
    We have been planning on replacing the couch but simply could not afford even a cheap one from Ikea.

    My DM had contacted me last night stating that a family friend of ours is having a content sale for her mother's house whom is now in a nursing home.
    And luckily for me - there is a couch for sale!


    She was asking 125, I offered 75 and she accepted.
    And look... its PINK

    What a beautiful upgrade! Perfect price, lovely colour too. It is sad when the contents sales happen, ( just means someone's life is now at that point none of us want to think about ) I too bought a funny wagon wheel light fixture many yrs ago that way.
