What's For Dinner?

for dinner, i'm doing a ribeye steak

I want to give thanks for having had a few weekends without takeout pizza via a family member. (Saves me from having to tear those boxes afterwards for the green cart!)
Fortunately, there are things in the freezer or fridge that cook quickly for supper.

Might be enchilada and burritos on the menu for supper tonight.

I know it will be chicken something. Haven't quite figured out the specifics. But dessert is gonna be awesome. Gingerbread cake and jam thumb cookies.

Something very simple tonight that doesn't require a lot of time : teryaki vegetable stirfry with rice on the side.

Last night was Sobey's rotisserie chicken meal, came with salad - macaroni - and buns. Bought a big potato salad to go with, and to finish up later this week. For $10, a yummy meal!

Tonight's dinner will be steak, and "chip" potatoes (potatoes par boiled sliced into thick chicps and than cooked in a pan with with butter, oil and herbs) and some form of veggies to be determined by what we find.

Peanut butter noodles with Chicken, snow peas and red peppers. I'm home today so the family is also getting dessert, brownies!

for lunch, i did chinese takeout of low mein, basil chicken and chili shrimp.

Gluten free penne with marinara and homemade GF meatballs. Leftover veggies.

i let the kids each choose a meal during the week, so tonight was dd1's pick (its always the same thing pretty much)... burritos, or as she calls it 'rollups'. mexican rice on the side
