HOLY SNOW! I don't think I've seen this much snow in one day since I was in high school! How's the weather in your area? Have you felt the wrath of The Snowpocalypse? I think I've shoveled a huge snow drift off my door about 3 or 4 times now! Can hardly stand being out because of the intense wind.

I am in Northern Nova Scotia, and very worried about the impact of this storm... just feels too much like White Juan. We shall see I guess!

Neighbors with snowblowers have been great today! There have been 3 guys that have been out all day just snowblowing up and down all the streets around here all day. They passed by my house a few times, and saw them pushing out a few cars that were stuck. Brings out the best in people.

I came out from work and the parking lot had not been plowed. My car was buried in snow up to the top the of the wheels. It was quite the struggle just to get out of the parking spot let alone the lot and onto the road. My neighbour took the 401 from Toronto to Oshawa and he said it took him 3 hours, cars flipped over everywhere and people were shoveling the 401 by hand because the plows cant keep up. Gosh I wish I lived some place tropical.

Snow is starting here in Halifax.
For those of you who hate winter, hate snow, why one earth would you settle in Canada? I grew up here, but after living in Florida for a few years I learned to appreciate snow. I still don't like extreme cold (-20 plus wind chill is too cold for me), but I like snow. This storm especially; it's getting us mostly on Saturday, and we don't have to go anywhere. We have plenty of food cooked, even if we lose power we'll be fine.
