Toronto’s embattled mayor is facing new allegations regarding his behaviour at an evening event. The Toronto Star newspaper is reporting Mayor Rob Ford was asked to leave a charity gala last month over concerns he was intoxicated.
The paper says its report is based on interviews with several organizers and guests, all of whom requested anonymity.
A city councillor, Paul Ainslie, told the Star that Ford was asked to leave but wouldn’t say why, while one unnamed organizer said it happened because “he seemed either drunk, high or had a medical condition.”This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Darth, it is the Star paper, not worth anything. They have hated that Rob was elected, even though they did everything in their power to degrade and embarrass him. I won't even buy a copy of their rag to line my bird cages with. My birds droppings deserve better than that. lol

The Star is trash. Left wing.
I can't profess to understand God's plan. Christ promised the resurrection of the dead. I just thought he had something a little different in mind.

I am curious - the event happened in February and The Star reported one full month later. Why did they wait? I would think that they would not sit on this juicy story?
I am not a fan of some of Mayor Ford's decisions for City of Toronto. But, when that Star reporter was peeking over his back yard fence and when another Star reporter was following Mayor Ford's mother around - that's it! Way too much invasion.

The National Post is the right wing equivalent. Or the Sun.

I like Rob Ford, but he does seem to attract trouble wherever he goes.

Remember the bogus story about him abusing one of his football players on the team he coaches?? They accused him, wrote about it, and it was ALL lies. Why are they not charged with something for that?
