While shopping at No Frills today, I came upon an unexpected deal. Quaker Oats for $1!!! I know these things go on sale often for $2.49 but somehow I'm not satisfied with that price, knowing I can get a 1 kg bag for $1.99 when on sale. Only the Regular kind was on for $1; I checked the other flavours and they were regular price. So I picked up 6 boxes and off I went to the refrigerated section for my free Tropicana. The coupon I used is this: B3 Quaker G1 Tropicana found at various Quaker displays last month (found mine at Metro). I'm planning on using some of the oats for this recipe for No-Bake Chocolate Oat Bars (shameless plug for my Pinterest board Lol!). Happy Easter everyone!

I was going to ask did you check the expiry date, but if you already have a plan for cooking with them as well as breakfast they will get used up for sure. Nice score!
