My Deals at Loblaws tonight

After work I headed over to Loblaws to do some grocery shopping and to pick up some things for Christmas baskets while waiting for my boyfriend to be done work.

Here's what I picked up:

Three Europes Best Frozen Vegetables - on sale for $1.99 and used three $1.00 off coupons = $2.97 for three

Stayfree Overnight Pads - on sale for $2.97, picked up three with three $2..50 off coupons = $2.91 for three

Tetley Iced Green Tea - $3.97, used a FPC = $0

Two packages of Schneiders Turkey Lunch Meats - $2.57 each, used a $5.00 off coupon = $0.17 for two

Tylenol - $3.49, used $3.00 off coupon = $0.49

Advil Tablets 50count - $5.49, picked up two with two $5.00 off coupons = $0.98 for two

Dove Body Wash - $5.49, picked up one, used one FPC = $0

Sunsilk Hyrda bonus package - $2.49, picked up one and used the $1.50 off coupon = $0.99 for the bonus package

Satin Care shaving gel - $2.49, picked up four with four $2.00 off coupons = $1.96 for four

Total was $10.41 plus taxes

It was my first real coupon shopping trip where I used more than two coupons. I went to the self checkout since no one was really there which was good because I was standing there for ten minutes while the lady working there called the manager about the printed coupons. Apparently they are being careful now because of the Maple Leaf coupons that have been copied onto the computer and printed out. She had no problem with me using as many as I did which was good. Ended up putting them all through as I stood and watched the total go down.

My boyfriend saw all the bags and was surprised at how much I spent because it looked like I spent a lot more.

lol It was an odd feeling for sure. My deals weren't as great as some of the other SCs but still good for me. Took my total down a nice chunk and I have tons of stuff to give away and to last me for a long while.

I also went to Dollarama and didn't notice that they only charged me for four things instead of ten until I was in the car on the way home from picking up my boyfriend. I'm going to stop by on my way home to pay for the other six things. Stupid me in a hurry leaving and not paying attention to the total.
