I'm working on it now but if its approved it'll be similar to the other 2 I've hosted (wayyyyy back in the day).
Riders will send a summary of what they like/dislike to give their buddy a starting point (ie. No kids, love true crime, collect cookbooks, etc). Buddy will choose a book they think you'll enjoy - it'll be a surprise since you just give guidelines and they go from there. Of course it's all pending final approval though.
I've gotten some amazing books for both myself and my kids in the past - ones I probably would never have bought otherwise.

i believe a great idea is similar to what you said http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/5456114-post415.html
about seeing what people get and it reminds me to add it too my wishlist
this would be great if we could post wishlists like we do reg. trains and see what others are requesting and same way we add to the list by answering questions etc we can have it added to the wishlist at the beginning of the package train thread tooJOIN NOW WIN BIG in the Survivor Pool starting in the Spring

i really like the idea of seeing the upcoming trains. as much as i love these trains, i am thinking that i am gonna have to skip the christmas in july. hubby is still not working and should be starting anytime and i am finding it harder and harder to fit buying a package for my buddy into my budget on my income only. i really like spoiling my buddy.

To make things fair for everyone we won't be "reserving" spots on the Christmas in July Train. However...there are going to be LOTS of spots for anyone who wants to ride. Just make sure you check in next weekend...it'll board for a couple of days I imagine to give everyone a chance.
If your package has been received by your buddy on the Pampered Guy's train, you're up to date on your feedback, you should be good to go

(pouting) I'm home sick with my 2nd bout of shingles on a year and a half. Very low odds of this happening for someone my age (still pouting - in pain).
Oh and I'm very bored!!
However, I keep thinking of the Christmas in July Package Train being posted this Saturday to pick up my mood.
I'm so excited!
