Hey everyone,

I came across a really cool site where every week members are asked a question about something that's going to happen and if your prediction is correct, you win money. There's a bit more to it than that but that's the idea and it's completely FREE. I find it to be a lot of fun.

I don't want to be classified as a spammer so I won't put my referral link but because I like the site and I'd like to keep this site alive (they rely on ad revenue) go check it out for all the details.

According to their FAQ, a new question is posted at 12 am every Sunday morning so if you stay up late tonight, you can compete with the mad rush of people hitting the site to enter their prediction, including me. Doesn't mean if you're first it's necessarily right though. At least you get credits if you're right regardless of when you answer. Personally, I'd like a Wii (hopefully that will be an auction item of theirs), so I'm just saving my credits.

just got an email saying a new question has gone up.

Looks like the winner is announced out on XMAS EVE!

this week the question is "What spot will Beyonce’s Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) single be at on the Billboard Hot 100 on Wed, Dec 24, 2008?"

Got an email from the site, they're asking for suggestions, so i'm sorta answering my own question. I suggested an ipod

I only entered one prediction so far... how do you earn points towards buying things on this website? It only looks like theres one prediction available.

Hey tobybennet, they ask a question about a future event every week. You probably just answered the question for that week. A new one will be posted Sunday (they mention it on their FAQ).

Anyways, we all get credits if our prediction is correct but the dates that the questions are referring to haven't happened yet. For example, this week's question:

"What spot will Beyonce’s Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) single be at on the Billboard Hot 100 on Wed, Dec 24, 2008?"

...is referring to Dec 24th. Hasn't happened yet. So we don't know if the prediction we made as members was correct yet. If your prediction is correct, you'll get 500 credits plus bonus credits. I think they said something about the bonus credits being calculated based on when in the week you answered.

Anyway, the credits you get are used to bid on items in their monthly auctions (also hasn't started yet). It's what you use instead of money. They make it quite clear on their site that everything is free for members. Anyway, I hope that clears it up. I'm pretty sure that's the way it works from what their site explains but I suppose you can email them if you still have questions. Seems like a fun set up to me.

It looks like you can get points/credits 2 ways

1) Playing the game - i.e making predictions on their questions and getting them right
2) Inviting people

Making a correct prediction gives you 500 points + bonus. It looks like the sooner you make a prediction the more bonus you get -- but you have to get it right.

Inviting friends gives you 10 credits each.

oh and you start with 100 :D
