    It's Safeway Flyer Eve!
Perhaps we can get it declared a National Holiday!

Don't get your hopes up. I have been using historic data based on last year's flyers and June was a pretty bad month and the same has been holding true this year. Expect the deals to start to get better July and August

I was wondering if anyone here was tracking this theory--nicely done.
Although given the 3 day sales, I hit them up for over 1,000 AM on the weekend--now I have chewing gum to last the rest of the year
I use DropBox to store my Las Vegas pictures, books, etc., online. It works on every device/computer that I use, and gives you 2.0GB of storage for FREE. Use the link below, sign up, and you and I will both get an EXTRA 500MB of storage, for FREE.

Ya I got too much free time... Sometimes the flyers are eerily identical to the previous year... Geez that's A LOT of gum!

Sorry, I guess I should rephrase that--only got 5 barrels of gum to get the AM...loaded up on pop, burgers, pizza, cereal, paper products, etc. which is where the bulk of the AM came from.

Of course I may have loaded up on the Miles only to have no real use for them if Sobeys/Safeway changes things down the road, but life's a gamble, right...

Darn! Well at least I don't have to wait long...I guess they need good deals to lure people in during the summer months when we are all out doing summer things. Or visiting other places.

I'm stocking up before the monopoly start's. I'm hoping the competition bureau has a brain and rejects this horrible deal as Sobeys already has stores all over the west and is Target's distributor for food. I expect though that Corporate greed will win yet again and Western Canadians will get the shaft. The Airmiles Sobeys offers out east is a joke. I'm guessing this will be the last year to actually accumulate Airmiles.

Probably, but my original post related to the e-auction that Safeway ran (through an outside promotions company, of course). That was the best way to use them.

You're right about the corporate greed--last week I talked to a cashier about what she'd heard about the deal--she had just started two weeks ago after being laid off from a Zeller's restaurant--so if it's last in, first out, she may have a problem. So there are multiple ramifications of course, on multiple levels, beyond whether we can score our Air Miles. Of course, presume things are going to stay the same, until they are changed, usually to our detriment.

What coupon are you referring to? The one I have says $4.00 on any Schick Quattro for Women razor or Trimstyle. (The pic show an individual razor, not disposables. (Many times if it's not in the picture, the cashiers fight me on it)
