It was really dry in terms of surveys for me as well and then a ton all of a sudden! I should be getting a check in the mail soon :)

Pinecone controls when present / allow referrals or invites, not the members. I joined about 5 years ago and only once have I seen where they accepted additional respondants. Their surveys are awesome, always paid within 1-2 business days. I love them.

Jealous! I wanna join!

Not accepting at the moment. Does anyone know if they keep the registration info until a slot opens up, or if we have to keep signing up over and over again?

Gee, things have been slow. Did a survey last week, no sign of product though.... bummer.

There's usually some sort of notification - we usually pass along the news on the main Pinecone thread if we learn of anything.

i totally agree with you. It's been slow lately.. i used to get surveys here and there, about 3/month... no sign of surveys or product testing.. but quite a few household surveys that dont pay

same here, maybe they haven't sent out the product yet? Although I have had 3 occasions now that the product never showed up.

i have been with them for awhile but only getting products to test since last month so far tested 2 products one last month one this past week.

I just thought I'd start this Pine cone research discussion in hopes of helping people get a Pine cone invitation. It might also display on the Google ad bar on the top since this is how Pine cone advertises.

Pinecone Research is very strict about how they recruit new members, so it can be difficult to find a banner or link to join the panel. Not only do they usually open up their panel to certain demographics only, they will only allow certain websites to host their banners and sign-up links when they do. So you do have to be somewhat lucky to get in.

That said, websites like SurveyPolice post general links to Pinecone when their panel opens up: http://www.surveypolice.com/pinecone-research (hint, hint) Though again, it can take a few tries before they accept your membership, as it depends on the types of people they're looking for.

Does anybody have a referral I would love one
