Lunch was the first meal of the day - other than a few soda crackers at 6 a.m. to stop the queasiness (no, not that - a touch of the flu....)
A bowl of soup, and buns with tuna.

My Ladies group is going out to lunch today to a mom & pop fish & Chips restaurant a couple of towns over. The restaurant is overlooking the Richelieu River and Canal, nice scenic area. This is an extremely popular restaurant for the fish & chips and there is always a lineup! Im having the fish with a caesar salad, their house dessert which is a Fruit Cocktail cake with homemade caramel sauce.

Leftover spaghetti squash from last night's dinner with a homemade tomato/vegetable/meat sauce. I'm embarrassed to admit, in more than 4 decades, I've never tasted spaghetti squash before yesterday evening. I didn't know what I was missing; it's delicious!!
I made three large pans of lasagna and cesar salad for dh and his co-workers' lunch today. Hope they liked it!~RRLF $0.75 Organic Meadow, $1 Almond Fresh~

An egg sandwich at a little cafe place at the YMCA. 7 whole dollars !!! There wasn't even lettuce in the sandwich . Serves me right for getting up late and not packing a lunch.

What an unusual dish to find there! One of our hospitals has (well, it's been a few years since I've been there) absolutely amazing food - don't know what it's like as a patient, but I've eaten both in the public and staff caf many times and just regular food was really, really good!
It's 3 p.m., and I can't wait for supper so I'm having a PB sandwich. Breakfast was way too long ago!
