Having issues with people in my life.
tossing & turning since 2 a.m., and finally giving up on sleep :(
oh hicks I had an awful time trying to fall asleep as well, finally dropped off around 4:00 a.m. ( I think ) only to stumble around trying to shut the alarm off at 6:30 ( had to get the garbage to the curb ) and walk the dogs. After my lungs got filled with this crisp air, I found energy to make pancakes and scrambled for the guys.......I'll probably crash around 11:00 this morning, lol!Quote:

Decorating shows that still install laminate countertops WITH that stupid curvy bit that backs onto the wall! How absurd! When we redecorated our kitchen we had plain textured black laminate installed without that stupid thing, and omg, the space we retrieved! I know it may not sound like much, but when we had finished doing the tiling, I put our Keurig and toaster back on the counter and then...pushed..and pushed...the things back and it was amazing the space I had!
I watched Disaster DIY today and there Bryan was, installing that countertop with that space-wasting thing attached to the back! It's old fashioned, it's obsolete, it's a space waster. You'd think he'd know better. Poor woman who didn't know any better; she could have had such a modern look with more space....just gets my knickers in a twist! Why do they still sell that crap??!!!
