treating someone with courtesy and consideration, and getting discourtesy and inconsideration in return, because of their sense of entitlement

people who will deliberately not return a friendly greeting

people who don't say thank-you when they receive a favour or gift from someone

loud, screaming rock music blasting from a loudspeaker in a doctor's waiting room

waiting and waiting in the waiting room

Not knowing what to do with a certain person who has been irritating me in the aforementioned ways for many years.

people who do realize how irritating they are, but do it anyway because they enjoy playing their mind games and power games on hapless, helpless others

being irritated at myself for not dealing with irritating people sooner, thereby helping to create a monster
