This happened last week... I held the door open for a lady and no 'thank you', smile, NOTHING. So since I was in a b**chy (a.k.a. pms) mood I said, "You're welcome, your highness"! She noticed me then!

It's just as annoying when I taught my kids to hold doors open and they are ignored simply because they are children. Yup, some-one said that to me when DD1 was holding a door for me and I thanked her, Madame rudeface told me I shouldn't bother thanking her as she was a child......Quote:
