For example:
Being called Roah...juhhh, instead of Roger
Being called Poawl...errrr, instead of Paula
Clipped words that are supposed to be drawled, and drawled words that are supposed to be clipped. :shrug:
They should have to learn to pronounce English like the English dictionary :exclaim:
However, I do like the Australian, Scottish, Irish and Welsh accents; they're much more endearing and fun, than they would ever be irritating.
Both Mr Penguin and I have British accents. And there's a big difference between them.
He's a brummie and I'm from the North-East of England.
