When people ask questions that are really statements in disguise, *especially* when they've already gone ahead with plans contingent on the expectation that you've already agreed.

For example: "Can you do this for me?" should really be "I've already told everyone that you'll have this done by tomorrow." I don't want the false hope of thinking there was an option of saying no when there really wasn't.
