This is my first time reading this thread. I had no idea that there was a cheque option, as I don't have it, either. Nor can I redeem 1100 pts for $50. The closest I have are 485 pts for $20 Paypal and 2323 pts for $100 Paypal.
Is the Paypal in CAD? I can't find that information in the FAQ.

Yes the paypal is Canadian. Someone else could not get the check option either. I have been a member of GTM for years now & always received a check in US converted to CAD $ before they started their new program, so maybe that is why some can receive checks & others cannot?

That's my suspicion, too: if you were part of the program before a specific date, you will have the cheque option. Relative newbs like me, nope. Oh well! I'm still very pleased with GTM. Easily one of my favourites!

I see GTM has lowered it's paypal points per-$ but the check option is no longer there. What was once $50 US check for 1100 points is now $55 CAN (I think?) for 1122...I think I used to get $50 CAN for 1091 points.

Interesting! I haven't noticed how much they are, as I usally cash out for a larger amount and end up adding lke 3-4 different payments to equal the amount I want, I DID however notice that Mysurvey.ca since it is the same company as GlobalTestMarket, that Mysurvey has ALSO lowered their cash out Paypal option(not sure of other rewards such as gift cards etc. as I don't use them) but $10 at Mysurvey used to cost 1091 points, now it costs 1020 points! yay :)

Is GTM still alive? cannot log in & the link on the log in page for their FB account is no longer working either?

I think it's still alive, although logging in has been very, very slow. I received two surveys to complete today, but I have noticed that the number of times I 'screenout' is far more frequent and they are getting very stingy with points...most times only giving sweepstakes entries (which to me are basically useless).

I used to only redeem for the cheque option, but given it's no longer an option I have been redeeming for Amazon.ca gift cards.....I never trust these survey sites to stick around very long so I never hoard my points.

Their point system changed, I used to cash out 1249(?) for $60 now $60 costs 7200 points!!!!
That is insane.

$10 is 1200 points(paypal) the same amount that you could get $60 for...that is the biggest rip off that's a huge difference in money.
They even "promised" "quicker cash out"....lie lie lie.

I'm just disappointed. I will not be redeeming paypal. I will get the cheapest gift card and sell it for paypal $ that way at least I save 200 points according to their new and disastrous points system.

I join global test market ..wasnt getting many surveys..so i decided stop doing their survey and get out it ..so no more survey

I have cashed out 30$ last wednesday and wondering how long it takes to receive payment?

I have contact the customer service and still no response after 2 days.It has been 15 days and still no payment. If i don't get any response this week then i will be stop doing their surveys. I have done many surveys to get this paypal reward so it is not right!

I cashed out $60 to paypal right before the change. Glad I did!

I did the exact same thing, and have also earned enough points since the change over for another $25.
