I made a ginormous pot of chicken soup from the roast chicken i made the other night. Added some garlic, onions, celery, carrots, peppercorns, leftover chicken meat and whatever else fell off the bones. And i boiled some Barilla soup noodles and voila! Real tasty lunch which we will have today and probably tomorrow for lunch. The rest i will freeze in Ziploc containers for those winter BLAH! days.

I NEVER buy chicken wings, they are overpriced usually, but Metro had the good brand ( Prime?? ) with $2.00 off stickers on each $5.00 pkg, so I grabbed 3 pkgs. They are in the oven in 3 separate roast pan type pans all with different sauces on them ( General Cao, honey garlic and sweet thai chili! ) It will make a nice snack when the gang wake up here today. lol

Montreal smoked meat Reuben sandwich. Homemade pickles, and pickled carrots. Didn't have any rye bread so whole wheat will do. Made a grainy/dijon mayo spread that goes awesome with the sauerkraut. Nom nom

smoked meat on kimmel bread with dill pickles. My favorite place to buy European deli meats. This place is run by Polish immigrants in Montréal and it is simply the best for kolbassa, kieska, smoked meat, head cheese, etc.
Québec Smoked Meat, rue du Centre, Montréal. If you are ever in Montréal, you need to go there!
