DH works in the bar/restaurant industry, so holidays are kind of a foreign concept to him. I think everyone should have New Years Day off, no one should have to start a new year by going to work. Originally Posted by Haleysmom

I totally agree!
Last new years day I was up at 5am to get ready, drive the hour to work, and be at work for 7am to open the store.
I won't lie, we really did nothing all day because there weren't many people out shopping.
