you're right it happens everywhere not just target...its a pain when you don't catch it at the cash.

No matter which store, always check before you leave. I shopped at Target, Food Basics, SDM, Rexall and Walmart this week and every single one of them needed a price adjusted at cash, the cashier caught it at Rexall and Target (both stores were clearance deals with stickers) but the others I SCOPed. You can save a fortune by checking and getting the price reduced/SCOP as necessary because most times you don't want to go back and can't prove the sticker etc was there later anyway

Today I wasn't allowed to use coupons on any of the clearance items I was lucky enough to find. I've never had this problem before and asked for a manager. The cashier went ahead to say that he was in charge of the area and that Target loses money when they allow coupons on clearance items. Anyone else have this issue?

Cashier was incorrect. Target get paid the face value of the coupon plus a handling fee (covers the time of the person who collects all of the coupons to mail and postage etc) as long as they accept it on the correct item. I have seen very rare coupons that specify the item has to be at full price but for 99+% of coupons they are valid on clearance. There are plenty of sale items people get for free with coupons, are Target not going to accept those too?

Found today Up & Up white envelopes (50pk) .49 - Jos Louis cakes 12 pk (twinkie style but chocolate) 1.79ea. I also grabbed 24, 9 cent pkgs of gum, last of the VH coffee, crest, scope, Zip lock containers, soft soap (1.59) large refills of Lysol soft soap (2.59)

with the Lysol soap you could use the Target $1 off any Lysol product.

Oasis 8 pack juice boxes marked at $0.93, but rang up for $0.74! My store in Niagara Falls had strawberry banana and grape wild berry. I think they must be clearing the brand, because I didn't see any Oasis brand juice boxes in the juice aisle, just in a separate clearance section. They don't expire until the summer.

No, actually near the end of one of the food aisles. You know how the clearance food is usually on the back end of the aisles? This was just around the corner of a front end.

ETA: There were only 6 or so grape when I left, but at least 20 strawberry banana.
