I feel your pain! I was born in Montreal and only moved here when I was a teenager. A lot of things aren't fair as I got my cousin into couponing last year and discovered many coupons restrict Quebec. Why I don't know as the last time I checked Quebec was still part of Canada. lol

My SIL work at loblaws here in QC in 2002 at that time meats was marked at 50% then when down to 30% when i asked someone in the meat department WHY he told me that people were buying discount meat instead of regular prices.I told him maybe people can't afford to pay full price.I guess they would rather it go in the garbagehttp://forum.smartcanucks.ca/411352-...-lists-canada/

Great shop today
30 Almond Milk 976ml P. Matched to $1.50- 30x$1.00, paid $0.50 a piece. (Regular price was $2.57 per box)
4 Car Air clips Fabrese at blow out price of $1.00 each had 4x$1.00 coupons
2 Almonds reese at $3.00 each - 2x$2.00 coupons
For the Almond milk I did not want to deal wit the BS from Cashiers, I went straight to the Manager told her that I accomolated the coupons from cereal that I had bought at her store, and if that would be a problem or would I had to do 2 or 3 transactions?, she told me to go straight a head and make the purchase with no issues, when I went to the Cashier I told her straight out I had ok from MG, if any issues for her call before any ringing, straight out no problem sir.
I even Educated one Cashier one that it was ME that was keeping her employed, if shoppers take their purchases some where else it would be her with out a job, and coupons is part of the business.

Today I got 55% off 1 - Grain Fed BC Veal Loin Chop and 3 - BC Grain Fed Rib Chops which were an inch thick!!! Expiry dates Feb. 18 (that one I had for supper tonight & it was really good!) The others had an expiry day of Feb. 20 and 23. Not only were they marked down once but then I got 50% off the last price. It should have cost me $26.62 but I ended up leaving the store only paying $11.90. I froze them all but I might fire up the BBQ as they are calling for rain here in Ottawa on Friday. lol

At Loblaws, IOGO nano, exp.Feb.25 on special $1.54 (reg.$2.99) minus pink sticker 50%, minus 0.75 off any IOGO, grabbed two packs with $3 coupons on each for future purchases. Paid 0.05 for both packs. Also bought some nice Joe Fresh clothes on liquidation: a summer dress and a blouse , each was $4.94 (reg.$29).
