My coffee maker, after 6 years of hard servitude, died this morning. I simply can not function without a coffee maker in the house, so I started hunting down coffee maker deals. I remember filling out a mail-in promo through Gevalia, some 8 or 9 years ago, where one could get a free 4-cup coffee maker if you purchased one or two of their sample packs of gourmet coffee - I figured that would be a good place to start.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got there to find that instead of a shoddy little 4-cup coffee maker, they're now offering a 12-cup programmable one, along with two coffee mugs, and a stainless steel coffee scoop. All free gifts with a purchase of $14.95. Woo-Hoo!
Here are the finer points of the deal, taken directly from the site:
You will be sent two 1/2 lb. packages of the type(s) you have indicated below with the understanding that you will continue to receive additional shipments of Gevalia coffee (four 1/2 lb. packages) approximately every six weeks, plus you may receive a special annual shipment.
Prices of coffees and teas vary, ranging from $5.55 - $7.45 per package, plus shipping and handling. Prices are subject to change.
This arrangement may be canceled at any time after receiving your introductory shipment without obligation to accept further shipments. You may change the quantities and types of coffee you receive at any time, as well as the frequency of your shipments. The special gift is yours to keep regardless of your decision.
Hook yourself up with some exquisite coffee, and a bunch of free coffee swag by clicking here.
N.B. There isn't shipping information provided for Canadian addresses, but I have dealt with this company before through a Canadian address, so I've sent an email to find out if this is still possible. Sorry if I got your hopes up (I got my own hopes up) - I'll keep you informed on the situation. This thread is currently associated with: N/A

I just got my reply email - unfortunately, they will not ship to a Canadian address anymore - however, if you live on a border town, as I do, it is possible to still take advage of this deal by setting up a post-office box on the states side. Still, I'm dissapointed.
