They have added some new Air Miles Cash options for redemption. Instead of just in store at Shell and Rona, you can now cash in for eVouchers at Cineplex, FanXchange, iTunes, Kernels and Starbucks.

You know, considering the fiasco over Best Western, why couldn't they have just done the same or offered printable email vouchers to cut costs like all the other sites are doing. (rhetorical)

One thing I miss already was Safeway had good prices on yogurt:

Today I noticed an additional 50 airmiles in my account. They were from a rain check I had to have written up in the book.

Took hubby away for his 40th birthday. Used AM's for the flight, hotel and car rental. Totally sucked that I had to pay 10.50 for the hotel and 10.50 for the car rental to use my AM's. Still makes me angry.

You can avoid the $10.50 fee by buying gas or Shell gift cards with your points (or Starbuck's, Cineplex, etc.) then use the cash saved to pay for trip.

I've saved some of my Cash Rewards for future Spend 95 Get 20 offers from Shell to push the savings even more.

Interesting deals, and just YUMMY looking colours, as has been said. Was going to continue boycotting them after shabby treatment a few weeks ago, but just got a call, my 39" TV is in, so guess I'll have to go and pick it up.

Interestingly, a week after they said the store manager would be told of my unpleasant shopping experience, I have yet to hear from him. Perhaps he is on vacation. The person who called me from Customer Service just now was not my "Shopping Angel" from a few weeks back. Still have to wait for headphones, watches and coffeemaker/toaster to come in anyway.

Further news--received a normally coloured flyer in my mailbox this morning--looks like they have ditched the local newspaper for mail distribution--that is a big change (of course I haven't received a flyer for 6 months from the newspaper, so this is great news).

I love this thread. Thank you everyone, especially Bob. I thought I should post to help towards the million. I live a block away from a really, really busy Safeway in Burnaby. I hope it doesn't turn to a Save-On. This area is populated by mostly Seniors who walk there every day. My mom sometimes goes twice a day. It is a social outing. It would cause so much confusion. Aaaand Delisso Pizza on sale this week. Plus 50 points if you buy 4. Yay there were Coupons for $1.00 off in the Walmart. magazine.

Well....just got back from a shop...here's a last minute deal, as it ends today. The Dove deo is on for 2.49 if you buy 3+, there are those $2 off coupons that came w/free sample, plus there is a $2 off Smartsource printable (you can print 2). So...depending on how many coupons you have - the deal is B3G20AM or B4G40AM. You can get paid to shop on this one. May even work on some of the other Dove products depending on what coupons you have. PLUS if you work it into a $75 shop, you can use the 75AMWUS$75.
