Anyone have any suggestions to help diminish acne scars? Is mederma a good choice? Thanks.

I imagine anything for scars in general would work... Mederma, Vitamin E cream...

I use Vichy Pro Even dark spot corrector. It helped me lighten a burn on my upper lip from some cream hair remover, plus it has lightened acne scars. You have to use a sunscreen on your skin after you use it.

Guys and gals, if you are in Toronto, I can give you Murad acne care stuff. For free, of course A little bit used (about 10%) but that's OK.

I actually tried these two things and they both worked: Vitamin E (from one of those gel caps) and also mixing honey with lemon. I wouldn't do it each day as it may be too harsh for your skin and dry it out, but I would definitely try it twice to three times a week. I hope it helps!

I would suggest jojoba oil, worked for my oven burns and acne scars on my granddaughter's back.

I chose jojoba oil because I knew my skin had no problem with this oil because it is in my Monsia Skincare.

Depends on the type of scars! I used dermaroller with vitamin C serum and 100% pure vitamin E but I had cystic acne scars about six months ago. I saw significant difference.

Bio Oil is a scam. It's no better than moisturizer.

I suggest watching DermTV on Youtube. Dr. Schultz offers great information.

don't mean to hijack this thread, my sister is in her early 20s but has bad acne on her back that she's been battling for years. She went to doctors, took medication oral and topical but nothing is working. I'd like to hear what you have tried and worked so I can tell her to try too. It's a trial and error for her now. TIA

Use coconut oil or other products that contain vitamin E.
