16 oz. of my mean green juice turned into a smoothie. It is shocking though the amount of calories that seem to be in one of these with the avocado, banana, and berries added.
( hope I am calculating everything right )

Dh and I went out for lunch after church today. I ordered the chicken pecan salad. ingredients: Romain lettuce, tomato, grated marble cheese, bacon, pecans, a hard boiled egg, sliced chicken finger, two wedges of grilled herb bread, with house salad dressing on the side. dh had a cheese burger with fries and a coffee. LO ate off both of our plates. He had a fair bit of the meats, cheese, bread, french fries, and water. He had fun.

didnt want anything heavy for lunch because we were working outside. So lunch was light: cut up cantelope, honeydew and watermelon; cheddar cheese squares and Brie with Breton crackers; Pepper pate and Genoa salami with kimmel bread; and olives. And lots of homemade tart iced lemonade.

We did a bit of a road trip today. We'd read online about a beach about an hour away where you could find fossils, we rented a car this weekend so we decided to go. It's on the Bay of Fundy though, so we had to check the tides first, low tide was at 10:30 this morning. So I was up very early and cooked a boneless pork roast I'd bought at Costco yesterday, sliced some of it before we went and packed bread, cheese, mayo and snacks. DS LOVED the pork roast sandwiches. We left around 9:30 to arrive for low tide.
The fossils were a bit disappointing though, not as much as what we thought, or at least not much we could recognize. But it was a beautiful sunny day, so all good.

Pretty large lunch day for me. 4 oz basa fillet, 1 cup broccoli and 1/2 cup butternut squash. Followed by 2 fresh strawberries dipped in 10 grams of Lindt's ( 99% cacao ) melted chocolate sweetened with 2 drops of Stevia.
Followed by ( yeah that's right! lol)
2 homemade GF chocolate pecan cupcakes topped with blackberry and blueberry compote sweetened with Stevia.
Dinner may be postponed

We had a Chinese lunch at work today, it was really good. I ordered the food for 55 people, tried to accommodate everyone (a vegetarian dish, vegetarian spring rolls, regular egg rolls, some plain rice, some chicken, some beef, some pork etc.). Most of the food got eaten, but the beef/broccoli and chicken guy ding both were heavy on the veggies, and not everybody was nuts about them, there's leftovers of that stuff. I didn't have supper tonight.

I did lunch in a couple of parts. Went to the blood bank before my dental appointment, and they normally just have Nutrigrain bars, etc., but today they had soup and rolls, so had some of that. Went out shopping around, a couple hours later went past Walmart and found a fundraising bbq outside, got a hot dog on my way by for a couple bucks.

Had a homemade burger on the BBQ. Love having them made and in the freezer ready to use. Almost was bad and picked up something since we were out shopping.
