I was exhausted from Track and Field today, where I was a substitute teacher in charge of the Grade 5 boys, but I still made the planned meal when I got home.
We had roast chicken ($1.99/lb at Sobeys) with carrots and onions. French bread with balsamic vinegar and oil dip. Had it with rice and chocolate milk ($3.99-10%off at Sobeys for 4L of milk...which is a fair bit cheaper than the white milk). LO ate lots of chicken and rice, with French bread, and white milk.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

Baked chicken pieces, hasselback potatoes (didn't let them get crunchy enough, but they still were awesome), mixed veggies.

We had company so DH grilled 2 whole chickens on the BBQ and baked french bread and carrot cake for dessert. I also made up a salad and some corn on the cob. Oh and of course we drank a little wine too.

Son is coming for supper, so I'm making his fave tacos and macaroni salad.
Husband doesn't eat tacos (more for us!), so he'll have leftover chicken and potatoes.

I have been simmering spaghetti sauce all afternoon. It smells very good. You know there is something about garlic that is so inviting.
We'll probably go with spaghetti & a spinach salad. I have a bottle of Merlot that I could open.

Boo, hope your DS feels better soon.
DH is out tonight, DS and I went to a birthday party after lunch and were tired and hot when we got home, and not very hungry since we'd had hot dogs and cupcakes. But fortunately I bought a fresh turkey the other day and cooked it early this morning. We had cold turkey with raw veggies. Just the right thing!

I have no idea what's for supper tonight, or tomorrow night. That's why I'm looking on here again.
Last night's supper was whole wheat roast chicken wraps with cream of mushroom soup. We later had apple rhubarb crisp with vanilla icecream. My older brother was over, he always loves my home cooking. My brother took my husband out with him this afternoon to go off roading in his Jeep, so I might be cooking supper for him again tonight. I'd better get organized.Help me out with Swagbucks and we can both earn gift cards and PayPal money

managed to snag 8 more bags of those DELICIOUS frozen rainbow trout ( 454 gram bags) from FreshCo after leaving the doggy park earlier, so cooked up enough for DH and I, kids got the Basa fillets that they prefer, loads of veggies today too. Did a small plate with cut cucumbers/tomatoes and daikon....Mmm way better that those red " burn your mouth off " radishes, I love these long white ones much better! Also had cooked carrots, cabbage, green beans, broccoli and beets.
