I love this site and I have for years (altho only a member for one ) This last week it has become impossible to navigate this site without constant pop ups. All of these add are from suprasavings. And I don't mean one or two I mean 4 or 5. Just clicking on the brags there is an add at the top of my screen with 3 pop ups, there is one in the bottom right corner which when I close brings me to another popup to download software. I close that and I get another window for another program to download. Arrrg is anyone else having this problem? I have gone thru my computer deleted over 30 programs which have gotten installed by closing windows! disk cleaned up restarted and nothing! HeLP please

We had the same happen to us.
Super savings can also get on your computer when you update free software on your computer.
You can get rid of super savings by googling how to remove super savings ads.
We used malwaretips.com, but there are other sites.

SmartCanucks uses google ads, they serve them based on your browsing history.
Personally I have not received any popups
I recommend doing a full virus scan (deep scan not just a regular one)
The use malwarebytes to get rid of any malware

I'm no computer person but I had something similar happen. I ended up having to go to my Web browser (Firefox) and to Tools to Manage Add-ons.
By eliminating the add-ons from a certain date I got rid of them.
Hope that helps.Last edited by Cake; Tue, Jul 1st, 2014 at 11:33 AM.

I use Google Chrome so I added AdBlock from the Chrome Web Store. It works perfectly for blocking all ads on all site.

I have been using an ad blocker for years. I haven't seen a pop up in years unless I ad them to my allow list.

If it is malware on your computer, a popup blocker doesn't necessarily help as they are coming from your computer not a website

No popups for me - I am using Chrome, but no extensions or add-ons.
While popups can be from ads on the site, it is most likely related to malware (unless the majority of users are also getting popups.

I managed to get myself the Suprasavings malware on my computer, I used two great free malware scanning programs... Malwarebytes Antimalware and Superantispyware and did full scans. I'm not sure which browser you're using, but (important) make sure you check the addons and extensions and remove anything suspicious there, that's where I found a couple things. Then, I used CCleaner (free) and scanned and removed excess clutter and residue from the computer. Then restarted, all was good. The malwaretips.com site that Shwa Girl spoke of has a really good removal guide for Suprasavings as well. Suprasavings can be represented by many different program names, the malwaretips site guide lists quite a few to be removed from add/remove. Good luck!

Always rescan when you restart after removing malware too - some hide pesky resinstall programs

I had a similar problem for about a week.. Im not sure where I picked it up.. I went through my add/remove program list and say something called coupondownload (or similar, my memory is wonky) I removed it and that corrected the problem. It would randomly underline certain words and highlight them in blue.. telling me I had own stuff and to click .. Thankfully it was really easy to fix.
Be sure to click like and post a brag if you get the deal.. It makes my day!!! Flattery may just get you more deals
Be sure to double check your flyer, points and cashback offers~ YMMV
