So nice to have found some chili in the freezer this morning - I usually don't do that.
I bumped it up by adding some mushroom sauce, and served with pasta.
There were lots of veggies and barley in the chili, so the only other veg we had was snacking on some fresh radishes before we ate.

Chicken barley soup, something light tonight, maybe I'll toss some salad. DH is having his routine heartburn.

Pirate stew...which seems a little ridiculous because it's rather humid here today...but not heating up the house by using the crock pot kinda trumps everything. LOL.

Grilling steak tonight, with leftover pork roast for DS since he doesn't care for steak.
I normally include chipotle powder on steak (from Bulk Barn, smoky and a bit hot), but I'm all out. So I'm improvising with Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, minced garlic, dried onion flakes, pepper and olive oil. Will add Bullseye BBQ sauce as they're grilling.

I'm thinking about cooking chicken breasts with fresh sliced mushrooms, green onion from the garden, jarred Alfredo sauce, and pasta. I always have a glass of milk with meals when I am at home. We'll be eating more Mann's sugar snap peas with it again.
I have some garden peas that will be ready to pick tomorrow.Last edited by Angela273; Mon, Jul 14th, 2014 at 01:38 PM.
