Mrs. S, I only use all purpose flour for everything and it turns out fine. In general, though, if a recipe calls for cake flour you need to use a little less all purpose flour because all purpose flour is heavier. If a recipe calls for 1 cup of cake and pastry flour, I would use 7/8 of a cup. Hope that helps.

Tonights plan: Finish cleaning the basement. All bedding from the spareroom down there has been washed and hung to dry. So need to give it a good vacuum and dusting etc. Then the rest of the basement. Wipe down the leather furniture and dust everything else too. A good vacuum too.

Happy Monday everyone, busy weekend at our cabin doing yard work and cleaning, we have company coming so beds needed to be stripped and changed and a general clean up!! Sometimes I can't see the light at the end of the tunnel with all the everyday things that need to get done!! Back to work this afternoon and I still have to finish the cabin laundry and tidy the house. I am making butter chicken this morning for tomorrow's supper for the boys, and for tonight it will be pita pizzas for them which they can just heat up when they get home. My son got a new brace for his broken ankle so he can fit his foot in his steel toe work shoes and drive so he is back to work full time for the rest of the summer, he has a really heavy course load of advanced classes for his grade 11 year so he felt working full time for the summer and not working part time for the first semester would be the best way to go.He is amazing at budgeting and has it all figured out, his second semester is much lighter so he will find something part time in January. He also runs a little ski and snowboard waxing business out of our house in the winter and he does very well with that. I am so proud of his work ethic and his ability to prioritize his life at only 16.
Hope everyone has a wonderful week !!

The mom of the little girl texted me at 10:00pm last night. She won't be coming today, but was booked so she is required to pay for her child's spot. She said that she didn't know about the list of required items to pack and asked me to send it home again on Tuesday, that way she will pack it. This was a short paragraph on the one page document that they signed. I send two copies home with parents, one for them and one for them to return back to me, signed and completed. It just continues to tell me that the didn't read it.

Sorry for the TMI, but I was up from 5:00-7:00am and had to visit the bathroom too many times. LO got up just before 7am, so I got him some cereal and a drink. When he was done with that I got dh up to take a turn with LO so that I could have a nap before he headed off to work. I feel pretty good right now, considering the rough start to my morning. I stopped by the hospital this morning to get my honorarium form inter-office mailed to Weyburn. I was sent an e-mail last week that requested that I submit the bill to get paid up to date. I then returned some children's library books, LO favouriite book was included. I was so tired of reading that book, but I am thinking about buying him his own copy. I stopped by NF to get in on their sale items. I then swung home just in time to meet up with a person who was buying baby clothes from me. The funny thing is the the grandma had been in contact with me in March 2013, then messaged me this weekend and finally came over today with her daughter and grandson to buy baby clothes from me. She paid me $25 for three grocery bags of 18-24month clothes that she picked out. As I have said before, I was given more clothes than we could use, so I have been periodically selling extras for about $1 per item. I'm happy with the sale, it went smoothly.

Bought 5 packs of bacon for $1.99 each with personal coupon I was sent from SDM that expired today. Finally can cook some up for bacon bits for ceaser salad (we do not use the fake stuff and the bacon bits I was buying at Costco are getting expensive and the bag smaller) Put 2 away for camping trip and another for yummy pasta my honey makes with bacon. So bad but so so good!

today so far I baked an AWESOME new recipe with oatmeal (baked oatmeal with blueberries and bananas), went on a 30 min 7km bike ride and did a full body workout. Cleaned my room and now just maybe going to whip up something for dessert to bring for dinner to a family members' house!

So we will be without a vehicle our only vehicle for an unknown amount of time. But we are lucky that if we need we can borrow 1 of the inlaws vehicles, I'm so dying to get out of the house.

The kids are outside getting some fresh air (eating popcycles) doing some chores for dh.

1st load is in the washer and then I will get in tidy up mood, if that's possible.

Coupon girl have a wonderful trip in London, ON.

Wishing everyone a fabulous day & a wonderful weekend.
that is good! Have you gotten it back yet? I've been MIA

Here's a link to a picture - have you made one?

My Grandma used to braid these out of Plastic bags.
I found a pattern that made a little more sense to me than wildberry ranch's

Now just have to book the adult camping trip. Hope to get some things done around the house this weekend and take a drive to Rama Sunday for a free buffet

Dont you just hate forgetting stuff! I don't mind as much when you get a chance to run home for it.

We were sending our oldest off to Cadet camp yesterday morning and found out his uniform belt was not with his uniform but left at his mothers house...who just happens to have left town for the weekend so we couldn't even retrieve the darn thing! so luckily they told us that camp has extra gear like that because some groups dont have the gear to give out before kids arrive. However then he gets there phones his mom to complain that his "meds" for bedtime weren't all there. However again his mother had actually picked up a 30 pill prescription...2 pills per night 14 days thats 28 pills and we gave him the whole bottle to take. Well he finally owned up to "2" not working he really needs "3" but we couldn't have gotten more at that point anyways because they just filled the script. anyways its all our fault because we were the ones that put him on the plane.

I was a LITTLE nervous but she did a great job with the help of her instructor. Now it's out of my neck!!! Thank goodness! I have to meet in the morning with a couple I will marry in August. My new printer is causing me MUCH pain! But I did persuade it to print MOST of the ceremony that we'll discuss.
Mrs. S You are just doing a great job with your crafts!
Angela, you have definitely created a very good " network" of people who need your services.
Ashley, whatever you do, don't try to carry things that you shouldn't. (This is from a woman who has suffered since my twenties with a bad back - that's 40 years of suffering on and off - don't let someone's need for a carry-out ruin your health!)
My car always has issues (its PCM computer is alittle wonky) I choose to ignore them LOL

I spent sunday washing laundry - i think i did 8 loads and i used vinegar and baking soda in them as a deodorizer. Which so far has been working fantastic.I had purchased a product for pet stains from home hardware to try but Because the other has been working so well on bedding and such I'm going to return the unused product.

Company comes for 10 days this weekend (Yay)

My july job is going well along with my fulltime job. I think i've made an extra $300ish. Whcih is being applied to C.C.s for the cost of gas, hotel and some groceries purchased for having extra bodies around.

I swear it feels like everytime i get a little bit into savings something comes up and we're right back down where we started. It gets so frustrating!
