Do You Have A Facebook Page for Contests or Couponing?

Does anyone have a Facebook account set up just for couponing and contest purposes, not so much for staying connected to friends and family?

I am trying to set up a page for contests, couponing, and buying & selling things locally. I am also trying to keep my personal info and account as private as possible. The problem is, most of the groups won't accept my request to join because I don't have "friends" listed on my page. DH says that group admins look at that, think my page is run by a "bot", and so turn down the request.

Your experiences? Tips?

I just send contest things to my contest buddies

I enter contests and get coupons just the same.

Yup. I keep a FB for personal stuff (family, friends) and a seconf FB for coupons and contests that uses my junk email. LOL.

I only have a Fakebook account. I deleted my real account a year or two ago. I hate FB.

I only have a facebook account for coupons/contests etc.. However I don't belong to any groups because I find the SC keeps me updated enough and I find enough deals through SC.
