Someone on here posted about the $20 off wub any $20 at Ricki's promotion. I took advantage of that today. I am a substitute teacher and I was just telling dh that I need more shirts. I have lost 20lbs in the last year, so my entire wardrobe has become somewhat limited (I already invested in belts for all my bottoms). Sorry, for the side note. Anyway, I bought a really nice short sleeved black blazer and a camisole for $3.88. I paid the $3.88 with a gift card that I received for Christmas a few years ago.
edit: I forgot to add the blazer was on the $4.99 rack out front, it was the only one left. I got the camisole for full price to take advantage of the coupon offer because I couldn't find anything else that I wanted/could use.Last edited by Angela273; Sat, Oct 11th, 2014 at 10:53 PM.

I accidentally left the freezer unplugged for too long and everything is pretty much thawed. My mom called the mission and they said they would gladly take it and cook it up. I dont feel so bad now knowing it isnt all going to waste.

I got Ready Crisp bacon for $2 after coupon. I was hesitated to buy it bc it's only 65grams (10 to 12 strips). But boy am I glad I bought it, perfectly evenly crisp bacon after 40 seconds in the microwave. No oil splash, no clean up, no fumes, no waste.
Got a good deal on soymilk drink as well $1.25 for 946ml carton.

Thanks to being alerted by SC, I went to Freshco in Ontario where Demspter's bread (my husband's fav) was on sale for $1.99. I used 5x the recent $2 off Dempster's coupons and got 5 five loaves for free. Actually they paid me .5 cents to take them out of the store. Then my husband and I went to Harvey's that has its anniversary deal of 2 original burgers for $5 and we had lunch. The deal is on for all Harvey's until the 19th, FYI.

I stumbled across a deal at NF. $1 Smart Source (Weight Watchers) pizzas for $1 each. I had one printable $3 off wub5 coupon, so I bought peperoni pizza to try. If we like it, then I might go back and get some more after I print off another coupon from SmartSource.ca Makes them 40c each + tax.

I didn't shop ANY of the Thanksgiving/Columbus day sales this weekend even though we were in the States for half of it. I did buy some food/pop in the States that we can't get here(vanilla coke, snacks for lunch boxes and candy corn M&Ms), and of course had to bring my girls back something(although it was practical stuff they needed that I would have had to buy here but the States has a better variety of stuff than we do).

Michael's has their Thanksgiving craft items for 70% off.
I was able to find a bunch of items that could be used for Halloween or just Autumn in general. Got lots of craft supplies for DD's class for $10.

Loblaws:
Barilla pasta on sale $0.99 scanned at $0.44 ( no coupons )
Dove 2*90g clearance $0.94, the white bar scanned at $0.44
Kids were throwing tantrums so I couldn't go back and get more and I'm pretty sure if I make it back tonight everything will be gone by then.
