I've never taken a selfie from my phone. I only take occasional photos of my 2 kids so that I can look back at them every time I think of them.

I have a problem though with publishing inappropriate online. Kids these days have no clue about what is acceptable and what is private. Oh well, some adults are no better especially when you have "celebrities" posting their every move.

And Patty, you're so right....so-called "celebrities" who take nude selfies and oops!, find that they're being circulated, gosh darn it all, just appall me. It's getting to the point where I'm feeling they're all in-bred anyway!

I take them every once and a while. If I'm updating my Facebook status and want a visual to go along with it.. ie. DH and I in the stands at the last rider game or me with my coffee mug ready to head out on a little road trip to visit family. Those are the only two I have posted in the last 6 months. I know people that take and post them every day...

My rule is that if I wouldn't say it/show it to my boss or my Grandpa then it doesn't get posted.

Cute moment: My Grandma teaching Grandpa to take a selfie with her iPad so she could post it to her Facebook page. Especially because she actually called it a selfie.

I've never taken selfie's. And I agree with beckie.c- if it's a pic you wouldn't show your boss don't capture it. If others enjoy taking selfie's that is perfectly okay, unless it's something involving criminal activities or putting someone at risk.

I do it on occasion, but not all the time. I can't get the right angles though and I usually end up looking like crap lol

Inbred! LOL! My mom and biological father are first cousins. So my Great uncle is also my Grandfather!!

I don't do selfies or any other pictures for that matter. My family is hard-pressed to find photos of me.
As for other people doing them, I think them are a personal choice.

Not a fan. Don't do it. Find it so obnoxious. Sorry if there are selfie addicts here. lol But I know people who have facebook albums dedicated with HUNDREDS of photos of selfies. Really. No one wants to see that. NO ONE. Then again. No one wants to see this either. I'll be surprised if anyone pays for it. lol Yes. Kim Kardashian is publishing a book of Selfies. Appropriately titled.
