I'm a member of 630 CHED Insiders in Edmonton. I accidently noticed this thread & realized the trivia questions for y108 & 630 Ched are the same. They are obviously both owned by Corus entertainment.
I've also noticed that since CHED is an all talk station that y108 members have many more chances for points in the blogs & listen to win. I've also come to the realization that all the contests(except for a few localized ones)are nation wide for all the Corus insider clubs. I've been coming on here for the last month & using your answers & have started providing some myself since I work a lot of nights & have nothing better to do. In a short time I have over 300K points. I have entered some contests before I realized they were nation wide & I'd better buy more than a few ballots(5)if I want to win a particular contest item.
My question to everybody is: How do you manage your points? By this mean do you buy a few ballots for each contest to spread out your chances of winning something or do you go all out & buy all your ballots on something you want & use 50K+ points on 1 draw.
Also do you try to keep a certain amount of points in your account(100K for example)waiting for a good trade in oppurtunity & try to snag something that way. I've never really noticed anything all that great on CHED for trade ins(they had Eskimo tickets once but I couldn't use them anyways)but I'm sure they do happen. What other kind of things do they have for trade ins(sports events? concerts?) & are they regularly offered?
