Angela, J and C see my post under the thread about the universal child care tax benefit. The $60 per month per child is in addition to your current child tax credit.

Thanks Lizzie I read it again and I'm still confused BUT I trust you but I guess what confused me was reference to the $60.00 replacing the CTC (child tax credit) which I guess I thought was the CTB .
What I don`t understand is the child disability credit going down BUT again I might be interpreting that incorrectly as they had included or lumped it with the childcare expenses.2019 is the year that we continue to save before we buy!!!

Yes exactly J and C-at first I too confused the CTC and CTB and is it any wonder with all these acronyms! I also thought when it was first announced I would get less but I finally understand it. I can't speak to the disability credit however as I know very little about that one.

Happy New Year all.
I'm a little slow - I'll answer the Dec question today
My biggest financial Achievements in 2014 were
1) Paying off my Student Loan
2) Raising my Credit score by over 100 points.
3) We took out a loan to consolidate several debts so Collection agents arent calling bf and im not into my LOC any longer. (i think the biggest thrill was getting approved because it showed ive brought my credit rating up enough again)
4) Asked for and receive my raise in november....as well as received a $1500 christmas bonus from work
5) No extra debt built up with christmas purchases or travel.

good afternoon and a HNY to you all.
after staying up til 2am. 1230 was a good time to wake up heheh
haven't done that in a long time.
anyway really regret we didnt' hit the grocery store yesterday. no milk, bread, extras to put in leftovers.
we'll have to do without or pay $$ for it at the variety store. great way to start the new year eh. *head palm*Be Strong
