Hey all, I told you I would let you know when the next big sale at the Gap was....
starting Thursday July 2, when you purchase 3 or more clearance (marked down, not promotional) items you will save an ADDITIONAL 30% off of those items.
This is on Gap and GapKids (adult and kids) up to and including Sunday July 5/09.

I find Gap has sales all the time, there is always stuff in the clearance rack. I have bought anything regular price there in years.

Thanks for the update. I see their trick though....they want me to buy more in order to get the discount!! The stores I've been to are looking rather bare in the clearance section, so I might have difficulty finding 3 pieces. I hope so more stuff will be marked down.

They want you to buy "more"? No way.
The jean sale is good too, most jeans are $29.99

Their socks better be on clearance too for me to pick 3 items.

i find gap is getting too pricey these days, without any significant improvement in their quality.

I remember back a 2-3 years ago they used to have additional 30% on clearance items and often times i used to find some really good buys. but not any more.

maybe the gap outlet is worth looking at

Unlikely, especially since some were final sale. But you can always try asking nicely.
