Cloud Warriors is a game, played in a bars and restaurants, by people using their smart phones, to win cash and prizes.



This game is driven by a colorful HOST and celebrates office skills, nimble researchers with good search habits and quick typing skills. It will reward those players who are skilled in the use of Twitter hashtags like #CloudWarriors. It also showcases fast cellular connections, devices and software.

Cloud Warriors is a unique two hour live event 'game' that’s played in a restaurant or sports bar using screens and native televisions.

Set to debut Tuesday Feb 24th 2015 at Cagney's Wine Bar in Streetsville (Mississauga) Ontario.

This event is free to enter because it's sponsored by a few different local businesses. The competition is free to enter, but event attendees are expected to order something from the menu.

The Rules are real simple. Participants use their phones and other devices to find details on the web, which are answers to difficult questions picked at random by a spin wheel. The questions are read aloud by a charismatic host and everyone in the room is encouraged to race to get the answers.

Once they find the necessary information to answer the question(s), participants continue to use their devices as fast as they can to tweet answers using the hashtag #CloudWarriors. The first correct answer (tweet) to appear on the Twitter Wall, (set to display only #CloudWarriors responses) wins the reward and could earn the Player a seat at the Cloud Table.

Cloud Table is a four seat table where winners are invited to sit - this separates them from 'helpers' they may have at their own tables. But this is a V.I.P. section where rewards pay double. The first correct answer gets to move and sit there, and others will join them as the game progresses. The folks at the Cloud Table are the only ones eligible to win the grand prize, TBA donated by TeraGo cloud services which will be fantastic RF toy (that has yet to be sourced).

Created by SURROUND Digital Marketing Agency in Oakville, Ontario, this is event storytelling and you can be sure there'll be pictures and links to the videos on their blog after the event. This live attraction is engineered to illustrate the power of The Cloud, and the ease of rapid data retrieval with modern smartphones on 3G networks.
