I am happy to report that Sam a 10 year old kitty who has been at the HS since October (!) since his owner passed away finally got adopted on Friday. A nice couple I met on Friday were trying to decide on him and a few others and they decided on him No animal should be in a shelter that long but some are

The shelter has improved by not taking in sooo many animals they have more time to spend on them. They have also put two cages together with a space for the cat to go through giving them more room, not ideal but better.....

A spay/neuter clinic will go a long way in helping reduce the homeless population of dogs/cats who end up having a sad life....
