The song video has gotten so much attn. Makes me proud that Canadians gave a farewell that touched many ppl.
We didnt hear poop from Target corporate about the customers who WERE loyal and the great employees who were superstars in the world of retail.

Went to Starbucks tonight and who is working the cash but my favourite target employee. She was the best and I noticed early on that she was gone from the store. I was so happy to see her. She said she couldn't stay and watch everything that she worked,so hard to build be destroyed. I said I didn't blame her. She brought a couple of the Starbucks workers with her and said that about 25 of the employees from the store had already found employment. Starbucks lucked out getting her. She is fantastic. So happy she landed on her feet!

One of the wonderful managers from our store also departed early and went to manage a Starbucks. You could tell that the morale of the team went downhill from that day on.

I went to the bar tonight to catch happy hour and the first period of the Vancouver vrs Calgary playoff game. I was walking through to go to the bathroom and spotted one of my favorite girls from customer service. I was going to stop by her table and say hi and chat on my way back but she was gone. Next time I got up to make the same trip I passed by a table of about 14 and realized it was many of the staff from my store enjoying a staff outing. Was so glad to see them together again and having a great time, got some hugs and wiped away a few tears. It was so weird seeing them in colors other than red though. LOL
