    My best shop last week....

I took a week holidays and lazed around alot.. Slept in frequently.. Spent time with friends around the fire, drank modestly and had lots of fun. Somewhere inbetween all that I got a little bored one day, and noticed that Shoppers had the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1" Tablet on sale for 269.95.. Regularly priced at 379.95.

Unfortunately I didn't have a 20 times points offer to combine with the redemption weekend... so I had to wait until wednesday, and I recieved a 20x points offer.

    269.95 x 1.13 = $305.04 - redemption of 170.00 = $135.04

    I preloaded a gift card with 136 dollars with my shopper Mastercard..... 136 x (10+15 points) = 3400 points.
    And got 20x points on the before tax amount of 269.95-170= 99.95 x 200 = 19990 points
For a total of 23390 points....

    200 my average redemption / 95000 * 23390 = $49.24 in points.. lets just say 50 bucks.

So my actual Out pocket expense on a $379.95 dollar Tablet was 135.04 - 50 = Just $85.00

    I love shoppers!

Also worth mentioning the tablet actually rocks... Takes crap ass photo's however, but with the 50 gigs of cloud space it came with and since I use a Samsung S4 phone i was able to set it up, so all my photo's taken with my good phone automatically get uploaded to the cloud and are immediately viewable on my Tablet, or computer, or at work for that matter. And if i want to laze around in bed and watch a bit of netflix before bed, I can now. Also Sure as heck beats squinting at my S4 and trying to read articles on Quantum Computing and other varies interests... I can put reading glasses off longer now. lol

Okay peace out.. and love to all.

Popped in to my favorite SDM my way by to the liquor store to see if any new clearance popped up since last night.
Scored a package of Armstrong Garden Herb cheese stick for 50c!! And 4 boxes of Extra Creamy KD, also 50c each.
Just a tiny score but what really put a smile on my face was an unexpected 400 in store points bonus!
So 420 points on a $2.50 purchase and 4 meals and some snacks!

    So many great shops!

Stopped at Shoppers last night on way to buy plants to prep for a shop today.

$8.40 at shoppers, produce still looked great (new produce had come in), nothing over 99 cents:
(missing is another spinach salad, already eaten):
cherry tomatoes, organic blueberries, wild pacific salmon, mushrooms and spinach saladsName: photo (1) - Copy.jpg

Wow!! Fresh produce and salads at SDM? I've never been to one like that! Great prices, I've regrettably paid 3x that for cherry tomatoes at times. And I love getting blueberries on sale and throwing them in the freezer and when I am craving a treat I get a little bowl full still frozen.

What a great shop! I am in the GTA also, do you mind telling what city this store is in?
I hope Shoppers has more stores with fresh produce. The stores near me have limited groceries. They don't always carry all the food items advertised.

I'm west of Toronto, but check your local stores, if they don't have produce they likely will soon. My experience has been that I find more "deals" mid/late in the day as the stores seem to prepare for new stock, but that's just my experience.

Agreed! I live in eastern Scarborough near 3 or 4 large SDMs but the food selection is always lacklustre at best. Would totally start buying produce if my SDM sold it!
