I got my bday offer today! 4000 bonus points.

Last year was 8000 bonus points (i think). are they cutting back?

Not to rub anything in... But I did receive birthday love. Oddly when I click load, nothing gets loaded, but I had the option to print the coupon. So I will use tomorrow for 4000 points (not 8000 I was hoping for).

I do notice what appears to be less frequent deals of the better magntudes.... For example, I'm getting a lot of 22000 points if you spend 100... But 18500 when spending 75 is the better deal. 22000 on 100 is very similar to 20x, which normally I only use on the bigger shops.

I also notice spend 30 bucks to get 6000 points in various fashions... or spend 20 bucks to get 4000... When most of the time in the past 30 bucks would get you 8000 which is much better then either of those options. Again I'm trying very hard to only hold out for the best points offers.

I noticed last year that on one card, there was a load of points before bday and got recieved 30k points back when redeem 95k points for $170.

Other card had little to no points right after redemption and recieved 8k bonus points.

Do you think that the coupon you get and the amount of points correlates to how many points you have in your account. i.e. over 95k points = 4k points. 1000 points in account = 8k points?

Perhaps, however I haven't seen anyone post anything other than 4k since the loading of the offers to cards started. Maybe that is the new norm, but it's only been a few weeks.

I have not once gotten an birthday offer in the past 9 years since I have signed up. Maybe in a couple of months I will get one.
