Hello Loocie! Sorry I haven't checked in for a while. Actually, my dh and I drove up to see Lynn49. A fine, but short time was had by all.
The weather has gotten to be a major part of life around here. Hot, humid, thunderstorm watches, even tornado watches!
I finally got all my plants into soil where they can grow - well - at least in the front - Well, it's not Canada Day yet is it?

Since we've been here a year I had a chance to evaluate what type of plants can grow well where - in theory. (I'm more of a Khaki coloured thumb - half way between green and brown.)

I've been thinking that you should gather all your poems together and make them into a BOOK! They tell a story that can educate and also make a connection to others who may be facing what you are going through.

Just think that every day, week, month that you put behind you gives some genius somewhere more time to discover, invent, refine a way to help you with your fight!

My dh has come through a year of dealing with the "fall-out" of the treatment he had over a decade ago. But, each day there's something to smile about. But there's always that big "C" hiding behind you, isn't there? It takes a lot of concentration to ignore it and find the smiles. I'm glad you can share your thoughts and feelings with us.

Yesterday marked the 13th anniversary of the loss of my leg. It is hard for me to believe that it has been that long. It has been a challenge at times & the frustration gets to me. The neurofibrosarcoma has returned on at least a couple of occasions. My mission is to continue stave off this sinister presence & 'keep on truckin' as they say.

My 2 youngest grandsons. They are truly heaven on earth & I know more than a few ladies who would pay big bucks to have hair that blonde. I love how they interact together.... just being with them, picks me up & gives me the tap on the shoulder that life is what it is & it's pretty darn good.
