I saw one store put their click and collect parking spots in their parking lot. I asked the employees. They said that in August customers can order on line, pay, drive up to the red parking spot and their groceries will be brought out to them. I am assuming that, that store will stay open.

I really hope that happens in my area! Would be so nice not to take my youngest grocery shopping lol.

Yes, this works in bigger communities.
The Cold Lake store was the only one. They will have to travel for groceries, according to people living there.

Time for the entrepreneurial residents and post-secondary students with economic development ideas (and maybe crowd funding) to put some ideas into use. Would be a good news story for the fall/winter/holiday sales periods.

It is sad to see the stores close. It seems many people are happy to shop at walmart even if it means that Canadian stores like these end up shutting down.

I know these days I am trying to vote Canadian with my dollars any place I can, even if it is only where I buy my groceries.
