I love it. I have the one with antivirus and firewall and it offers good protection and updates. I usually buy it when it's on sale in the $20 range.

I have tried the free AVG only and never Bit defender. The AVG was alright but I feel more secure with Kaspersky. I used Norton a long time ago and that slowed my computer down really bad so my uncle told me about Kaspersky and i've been with them ever since. Have you used Bit Defender?

Norton is the worst, and yes it definitely does slow down a PC immensely. I'll choose Mcafee enterprise over Norton, and yes I have used bitdefender in the past...it's touted as the best overall antivirus. My only concern about Kapersky is it's Russian link. I have 2016 activation keys for Kapersky

I haven't installed it, just wondering, why are there so many claims about Windows data mining upon installation?

loaded windows 10 3 weeks ago - had major problems with a lot of my programs, games, just finished going back to 8.1 - by the way you only have 30 days after putting 10 on to go back to your old windows version.....

When I downloaded it my Kapersky wouldn't open. I didn't like that it wouldn't run the anti virus I just bought and installed. I switched back maybe 10 mins after installing 10. I'll wait until some of the bugs get sorted out.

You need to do a fresh install of windows 10. Keeping your programs can cause conflicts.

You have an entire year to do the install. If you are on 7/8 already and your system is working without issue don't bother. Nothing in life is free and apparently there are many privacy concerns with Windows 10.

    Wait.

Privacy concerns are overblown. Most of the data gathering is for Cortana. If you use an iPhone or Android device you are already giving up the same data and more for Siri and Google Now.

Not if you are savvy, and know what needs to be disabled / turned off, as well as jailbreaking the device so you are in control.

I love Windows 10 so far, haven't had any issues. My laptop actually runs faster now.

I don't use Edge though, I stick with Chrome

The invasion of privacy you agree to when installing this OS is also concerning
